I am honored to assume the position of President and Representative Director of Sankyo Rikagaku, a company with a long history and tradition. At the same time, I am keenly aware of the importance of this responsibility as we enter a major turning point with the acquisition of a Chinese company. Our company has been supported by customers in a wide range of industries, including automotive, metal, woodworking, electronic components, and DIY, and this year marks the 92nd anniversary of our founding. Our recent acquisition of the Taishan Group, a Chinese company, has enabled us to develop and produce products at our manufacturing bases in Japan and China, taking advantage of our respective strengths. We will accelerate our global expansion and strive to become the No. 1 polishing solution provider in Asia.
Kyoko Fujiya Biography
He spent 27 years with General Electric's (GE) healthcare division, holding leadership positions in sourcing, SCM, and service businesses in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. He then spent two years managing a venture company, and in July 2021, he was appointed as an outside director of Sankyo Rikagaku Co. In December of the same year, he joined the company as Director and Managing Executive Officer, and was appointed President and Representative Director on June 30, 2022. He is a graduate of Sanno University of Industrial Management.
