1930Founder Yasushi Kaneko founded as a sole proprietorship (Kaneko Factory established in Otsuka, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo and began production of Japan's first water-resistant papers)

1953Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd. established in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 1 million yen, mainly for the sale of abrasive cloth and paper.

1954Urawa Plant (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) established after taking over the business rights of the production division from Sankyo Rikagaku Godo Kaisha, Ltd.

1958With the completion of the Okegawa Plant (Okegawa, Saitama Prefecture), the Urawa Plant is closed and the production base is relocated to the Okegawa Plant, which begins production and sales of abrasive paper and endless abrasive belts

1996Registered as over-the-counter stock with the Japan Securities Dealers Association (now the JASDAQ Securities Exchange).
