  • 1930
    Founder Yasushi Kaneko founded as a sole proprietorship (Kaneko Factory established in Otsuka, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo and began production of Japan's first water-resistant papers)
  • 1953
    Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd. established in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 1 million yen, mainly for the sale of abrasive cloth and paper.
  • 1954
    Urawa Plant (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) established after taking over the business rights of the production division from Sankyo Rikagaku Godo Kaisha, Ltd.
  • 1958
    With the completion of the Okegawa Plant (Okegawa, Saitama Prefecture), the Urawa Plant is closed and the production base is relocated to the Okegawa Plant, which begins production and sales of abrasive paper and endless abrasive belts
  • 1996
    Registered as over-the-counter stock with the Japan Securities Dealers Association (now the JASDAQ Securities Exchange).
  • 1999
    Head office moved to Okegawa Plant (Okegawa, Saitama Prefecture)
  • 2001
    Obtained IS09001 certification
  • 2003
    ISO 14001 certification acquired
  • 2010
    Delisted shares from the JASDAQ stock exchange due to management strategy.
  • 2016
    Established Plant No. 9 in the Okegawa Plant.
